Hi everyone
I have been keeping a blog on my fertility journey which has been a great therapeutic outlet. Please feel free to follow me - it may even help you in knowing that your not alone!

Went off the pill June 2007 and then got diagnosed with PCOS in April 2008 after my period still hadn't returned.
Officially started trying in May 2009. Have done 8 cycles of clomiphene, 3 IUIs (one BFP but m/c). Went onto the public funded waitlist for IVF July 2010.
IVF #1 started Aug 2011 - 1 transferred, 2 frosties. BT 19.09.11

Thankyou! Your blog has been an amazing help. Hubby & I have just found out we have to have IUI after 18mths trying of thinking nothing could be wrong. Everything you have written makes me feel normal and not so alone anymore. Congradulations :) and thankyou so much.

I am soo happy to hear your success story!! Thank yoU!! I also have PCOS and partner low sperm motility (good combo) and we have been trying for over 2 years. Just had first treatment of IUI and successful, however had a call from news after blood test yesterday to say HCG levels are not rising and will prob miscarry in the next week. Felt like whole world was bring ripped away! Still can't stop crying, let alone sleep. I am sooo happy to hear this story and still gives us hope x

I am a 28 year old teacher of 5/6 year olds and live in Auckland. I have a gorgeous fiance and live in a lovely house that we bought a few years ago.
