Egg donation is becoming increasingly common, but there is a shortage of donors in many countries, including New Zealand. There is limited research on the motivations to donate in the context of New Zealand's open-identity and altruistic donation policy and practice. 

In our upcoming August webinar, Sonja Goedeke, an associate professor of psychology at Auckland University of Technology, a registered clinical psychologist, and a Fertility NZ Board Advisor will discuss her research on Egg Donation in New Zealand and what motivates people to donate their eggs to help create much-wanted whānau through donor conception.

While this webinar focuses on egg donation, it is designed to be inclusive and relevant for those learning about sperm or embryo donation. We welcome all who are interested in these topics to join us.
